Most Americans have only one opportunity per year to sign up for health insurance: open enrollment period, November 1st to January 15th. Miss this window, and you’re left without coverage in the coming year. BeWell, New Mexico’s Health Insurance Marketplace, needed to inform New Mexicans of this critical period. But the added challenge was to convince New Mexicans of the benefits of affordable, reliable insurance through BeWell. A health plan that works with your lifestyle and your budget does more than pay for medical expenses, it provides protection against unforeseen illness and injury, helps you be your healthiest you, and gives you peace of mind, knowing you can worry less and live life to its fullest.

Open enrollment is more than a window to sign up for a health plan. It’s a window of opportunities: The opportunity to get healthier. The opportunity to be more active and try new things. The opportunity to live unencumbered by worry. To show New Mexicans how their lives can improve by taking advantage of open enrollment through BeWell, we framed the benefits of health insurance as a portal to living your best life.

Using the BeWell brand as the thread to weave together the concept while enhancing brand awareness, we showcased real BeWell customers doing what they love across outdoor boards print ads, programmatic digital banners, and paid social media. A vibrant TV spot gave viewers a peek into the healthy lives of fellow New Mexicans in a resonant and relatable way. The results were impressive:
